The Governor Support Unit provides an extensive choice of training courses aimed at both new and experienced governors.

Briefing sessions are also held on a termly basis for Chairs and Vice Chairs of governing bodies to keep them up to date with educational developments in Carmarthenshire.

When Powerpoint presentations are used on courses, then, where appropriate, a copy of the presentation is made available for viewing or downloading for those who missed a course or as a refresher for those who attended the course some time ago.
