Joining and Borrowing 

Anyone who lives, works or studies in Carmarthenshire can become a member of any of the Regional, Branch and 5 Mobile libraries in the county.  All you'll need is to fill in the membership form, show something that has your name and address, and then you can start using the library.  

Its FREE to join the library, and once you have been given your card, adults can borrow the material from the following categories;

Books                                                   up to 10

CD/Talking Books/CDRoms                up to 10

DVDs                                                    up to 5

Internet                                                 Membership of the library
                                                             gives you the opportunity
                                                             to surf the net and its FREE.

The staff are there to help you, so don't be afraid to ask if you can't find what you are looking for, or need some information.

How long can I keep the item(s) I borrow?

Books/Talking Books      up to 28 days                  FREE

CDs/CDRoms                 up to 28 days                 Small Charge

DVDs                               up to 7 days                   Small Charge

Can I keep it longer?

Any item can be renewed if no-one else has requested it.  To renew items, please contact your local library before the loan period is over, or bring the items into the library and one of the library staff will renew them for you.
