Bus services operating on behalf of Carmarthenshire County Council during the Easter period 2011
Good Friday 22nd April 2011: Normal Friday services will operate on all routes, except that First Cymru will be operating a Saturday daytime service
Saturday 23rd April 2011: Normal Saturday services will operate
Sunday 24th April 2011: Normal Sunday services will operate
Easter Monday 25th April 2011: The only Carmarthenshire County Council service in operation on this day will be the Sunday timetable on routes 222 (Carmarthen - Pendine) and 227 (Carmarthen - Llanybri)
Tuesday 26th April 2011: Normal Tuesday services will operate on all routes, except that First Cymru will be operating a Saturday daytime service (but extra Saturday evening journeys will not run)
Wednesday 27th April 2011: Normal Wednesday services will operate on all routes, except that First Cymru will be operating a Saturday daytime service (but extra Saturday evening journeys will not run)
Thursday 28th April 2011: Normal Thursday services will operate on all routes, except that First Cymru will be operating a Saturday daytime service (but extra Saturday evening journeys will not run)
Friday 29th April 2011 (Royal Wedding): The following special arrangements will apply on this date:
• First Cymru will be operating a Saturday service except that service 215 will NOT operate
• Richards Brothers, Ffoshelig Coaches and Taf Valley Coaches will NOT be operating any services (this includes the Bwcabus service)
• Morris Travel will be operating services 206, 207, 226/228, 280/281 as normal, and ALL journeys on service 460 (including those journeys usually operated by Richards Brothers), however they will NOT be operating services B5/199, 166, 215, 222, 225, 278, 279, 284, 288/289
Saturday 30th April 2011: Normal Saturday services will operate
Sunday 1st May 2011: Normal Sunday services will operate
Monday 2nd May 2011: The only Carmarthenshire County Council service in operation on this day will be the Sunday timetable on routes 222 (Carmarthen - Pendine) and 227 (Carmarthen - Llanybri)
Please note that the above applies only to those journeys operating on behalf of carmarthenshire County Council. Passengers should contact the bus operator to confirm details for commercial bus services, and those operating on behalf of other Local Authorities.
Carmarthen's free Park and Ride service between Nantyci and the Town Centre will operate as normal on 22nd April (Good Friday) and on 29th April (Royal wedding day) but will not operate on 25th April (Easter Monday) or 2nd May (May Day holiday).
