Llandysul Paddlers Canoe Centre was officially opened in October 1998 and it is positioned next to the river Teifi in the village of Llandysul in South West Wales. The Centre was developed after securing funding from Carmarthenshire County Council as well as monies from Europe, Canoe Wales and the Foundation for Sports and the Arts.
The centre has had many great years with membership and visitors continuing to increase at a steady pace and is now recognised as a Centre of Excellence by Canoe Wales.
• The centre itself can accommodate 35 guests in various size rooms
• One of the rooms is positioned downstairs and is perfect for disabled use; this room also has its own shower facility.
• The centre has a self-catering kitchen and a large lounge, which doubles up as a dining area.
• Additional features include a drying room, showers, changing rooms, TV and video.
• The centre holds a full activities licence and can run most outdoor activities.
• The site is ideal for inland water sports as well as coastal activities.
• The Centre also has two large fields that can be used for camping.
• A training lake has recently been developed
